The California native known as Poetiic, has been creating a Media powerhouse for local up and coming talent from Sacramento, California to Dayton, Ohio since 2009.

After graduating from San Diego State University and majoring in Journalism, Poe, began organizing and hosting sold out venues under the stage name “New Eruh”.

Soon she began to travel and eventually brought her talent, style, and charisma to Ohio, where Poetic University began.

When did you start performing?

Poetiic: “I started performing before I was eight years old”.

When did you know performing was something you wanted to do as a career?

Poetiic:

“There was one talent show, where they threw money on the stage and from there I knew this was something I wanted to do…. But I don’t think my purpose is to be an Artist. That’s an avenue [God] has blessed with me, but I’m more behind the scenes.”

Artist isn’t even half of it. Writer, Producer, Director, Lyricist, Graphic Designer, Editor, and Teacher, Poe, is a blessing to the City of Innovation (Dayton) with events curated to network, communicate, elevate, inspire, and educate.

For example, “Lost In Translation” is a well known family-friendly, Open-Mic show directed and produced by Poetiic featuring new and reoccurring performances, with food, vendors, and raffle-giveaways.

An upcoming L.I.T show will be held on Sunday, March 3rd, 2024 from 6:00 PM to 11:00 PM at, 3119 Stop 8 Rd, Dayton, OH 45414, USA.

It doesn’t stop there!

Poe has released her second album “Paradigm Shift” in the form of an USB shaped like a Key, created merchandise to match, AND is going on Tour in March!

Since my purchase in January, the album has been on replay, The 90s style intro is nostalgic, and the voicemail affirmations draw me into each song. My favorite tracks are The Intro, I call a Mother’s Praise, Zone Out, InnerView, Interlude, Without You and more. I’m on the fourth listen and I have to find bigger speakers to replay it again, even louder. The vibes are chill and positive, fit for a drive to work, or relaxing in the house.

The album is a testimony of growth. Listeners can hear the effort put into each song but more importantly, you can hear the journey of self discovery, patience, love, acceptance, and healing that one must undergo to ascend to their higher self and become successful.

Simply put, this is a Paradigm Shift.
