Many thanks and well wishes go out to the overwhelming amount of people that supported me through this crisis.
This is a humbling experience that I take very seriously, I do not take for granted, and would not wish this pain and anguish on anyone.
Thank you Lost and Found Pets in and around Fairborn. , Fairborn Communicates, Lots & Found Pets Xenia & Surrounding. Fairborn Ohio Friends And Neighborhood, Green Co OHIO & Surrounding Lost and Found Pets.
and everyone associated with these groups for sharing my flyer all over and finding my son.
A special thanks go to Fairborn Pet and Grooming &Board, prayer warrior, mother, and grandmother Marchelle Hopson, Pastors Mrs. and Mr.Hayes, and other family members and friends that took the time and effort to spread my flyer all over social media, as well as, help with the physical search and rescue of Kingston.
The Fairborn Pet Grooming & Board is located on 140 Forestdale Avenue Fairborn, Ohio 45324 is where Kingston was found. It is said that an unidentified woman brought her dog and Kingston to the groomer. The woman was unaware that Kingstons name, photo, and home videos were released and circulating throughout various social media sites and several Fairborn Facebook groups since his disappearance on January 5, 2021.
When the women entered the grooming shop, an employee (who is my hero) recognized Kingston from Facebook and called his name. Kingston immediately became excited and started wagging his tail. When the dognapper was informed the owners were on their way the Dog knapper fled the scene and did not collect the reward money. There is reason to believe that the unidentified woman fled because she maybe my upstairs neighbor and she wanted to protect her identity.

The Shop contacted my mother and I was contacted shortly after. On this upcoming Monday, Kingston, Nina, and the Gang are going to show thanks by spending the reward money on a grooming session.
Fairborn Pet Grooming has earned my utmost respect, gratitude, and life long business. <<<Click Here>>> to view their Facebook page and find pricing information.

The whole family is shaken up and no one will ever know what awful things he endured while being held captive in a stranger's home. For the most part, Kingston is okay, on the journey to recovery, and safe at home.
~The End~

You may be asking yourself"Wait, what just happened?", "Did you say the Dognapper could be your neighbor?"
Yes, Yes I did. There is reason to believe that my upstairs neighbor was enjoying my suffering, and physically abusing my dog when he would manage to respond to my call.

Wild accusations? I THINK NOT!
look at the image to the left. This is a basic idea of what my apartment complex Foyer looks like. It's four units per building, the hallway is narrow, and it's only two floors. Two apartment doors are located on the first floor (one is mine) and two apartment doors are at the top of the inside steps. The Main door remains locked and shut and outside the door is a steep flight of steps. Imagine my mailbox is where the mirror is. We think Kingston followed me out the door when I went to grab the mail. unaware of this, I returned to my apartment and closed my door. Ten (10) minutes later, we are searching for Kingston and could not find him,
The main door stays shut and locked at all times and is followed by a flight of steep steps. Kingston does not walk up or down steps, he's terrified of them. Therefore, there is no way he could have exited the building unless someone carried him out. With this in mind, we went to the three other neighbors and asked if they have seen him.
One neighbor, whose address I will not disclose, did not answer their door. This raised a reg flag immediately. The search began around 7 pm and lasted for a while so I thought the person did not answer because it was late.
I called the police in an attempt to see if they could help get that person to open their door or at least speak to me, unfortunately, they could not. I called the chip company to activate a dog Amber alert which was sent to all pet care professionals and registered pet owners. I took to social media the night of his disappearance, made flyers, and searched the neighborhood from top to bottom thoroughly. The next morning when I was calling out for my dog, I heard a bark similar to his coming from the upstairs of my apartment complex. I thought I was hallucinating due to the lack of sleep, all night crying, and lack of appetite. But two other people confirmed hearing similar noises from upstairs.
Need more clues? I have been at this new apartment for three weeks and have not heard any small dog activity except for my dogs and the abuse of an animal upstairs did not start until after Kingston disappeared. Throughout the day, I heard more faint noises.
When my boyfriend got home, he heard a woman yell "lay down", a small dog whimpering, and another more forceful yell again to "lay down".
And It was official.
My dog was inside someone else's home, near me but out of reach, and being abused. Physiologically...I lost it. I couldn't eat, sleep or think.
For the next two days, I documented the times of the abuse and called animal control to see what I could do. After informing them of the abuse, they said they could issue a welfare check on the apartment.
I hated every second of every minute in every hour that Kingston was not with me. When I would call to him, he was forced to be quiet and when he was not quite, he was hit. When I would stop calling for him, Kingston made some attempts on his own to bark or cry and it was followed by a thudding sound. He also sounded very faint and muffled as if she kept him in a drawer or closet.
"If someone accuses a neighbor of stealing their property, we can not enter someone's home without a search warrant," said Fairborn police after I called to file an official report.
Out of options, all I could do was put up more flyers, post on Facebook, and wait.
The sounds upstairs were very faint and hard to make out but it was several moments where something could be heard. Later when I was leaving for work, I saw someone had placed a piece of Kingstons poop by my driver side back tire.
Sounds crazy, I know. But the neighborhood I live in is well-kept meaning dog owners don't let their dogs just poop anywhere and the poop didn't look like a random animal left it, it looked perfectly placed by my car.
After raising a dog for a year and picking up after them, you know what they let out. I took this as a sign that not only was Kingston being held captive right above me but the captor was enjoying my suffering and playing with my mind.
So hurt and desperate to find my prince, I made a video to be sent to every social site and media outlet to show that despite Kingston being found outside the house, he is loved, appreciated, and a huge part of my small family.
The last two clues that Kingston was being held upstairs is the groomers in which he was found was only two minutes from my apartment complex and after his return, we have not heard any pet abuse.
Kingston returned with blotchy cuts in his fur, a sensitivity to loud noises and fast movements, with his tail and left arm appearing to be sensitive to touch. He will see a vet to confirm his goohealth. Despite
everything that took place, his return was a joyous one as seen in the video Here>>>
To this day, we do not know what the upstairs neighbors look like, we know it was a woman, and she fled the groomers before we could question her.
What are your thoughts on this and what do you think I should do? Some people have told me to just be thankful he is home and move on. What do you think I should feel?
As always thanks for reading.
Keep Open Ears, Eyes & Mind, "Till Next Time.
